Well well well would you look at that. There is now only 1 unbeaten team in the NFL left. And that is your Kansas City Chiefs.
In my season preview I had us losing this game and the Ravens game. I am wrong a lot. And I am just happy to be wrong
Patrick Mahomes might not be having a great season. But he is showing what sets him apart from any other QB. The refuse to lose mindset is very strong with him. He didn't have the greatest passing game to say the least but he made plays with his legs. He ran a dude over to get into the endzone. That is just simply a I want it more play. And he is very very good at that.
Lets give a call out to a couple of guys who really stepped up in the game. Hardman and Gray both had some big time plays. Hardman more than Gray and he set us up with a really nice return and then had the run for a Touchdown. Gray had a couple of big grabs to extend drives doing his part. With the teams really doing everything they can with coverage to take Kelce out of the game you need another TE is step up and Gray has done that. He is no Travis Kelce but he just has a habit of making a little play here or there that helps you win the game.
Hunt continues his redemption tour with KC. A couple of more Tds in the game. He is showing that he can still produce like a number 1RB in the league. The best news of all is our main number 1 RB should be back soon. And then teams will have something more to worry about.
Andy had a outstanding gameplan to go against that defense. While I did think he got a little pass happy for a bit he was able to get the ship right and the team moved the ball most of the day against one of the best defenses in the league. Simply put Big Red was on top of his game. Job well done sir.
One downside to ask. Can anyone anyone at all tell me what the hell Skyy Moore does? Well other than drop passes. I think during the game they said he had 3 targets all year and had 3 drops. At what point do you just move on. Are you telling me there is nobody out there either in the open market or on the PS that can do that? Get the bum off the team.
The Chiefs defense really came to play. They didn't even have the far to common slow start. They made life a living hell for Purdy getting after him. In all honesty it did help a little that the niners had guys out on offense like the Chiefs did. But the niners did not have near the success of moving the ball like the Chiefs did. They made the niners look like they were short handed more than the niners defense was able to. They took the ball away a number of times and really carried us when the offense was in a funk for a bit. Man this defense is really fun to watch
I really don't think we talk enough about how outstanding Brett Veach is at his job. 2 rookies had picks yesterday. He just keeps finding guys. We are really blessed to have him running the show. Now I hope that he is able to go find a WR. If the Chiefs are going to complete this run at history with a 3rd straight super bowl they simply have to find someone. I trust that we will see something done before the deadline
It's now on to the Raiders. Who did a little stunt in training camp regarding Mahomes. Now it's time to make them face the music. Will they never learn? Lets make them pay and keep this winning streak going. GO CHIEFS
